Artist Documentation - Le Bijoutier
Odell and I followed Le Bijoutier around as he took photos of some of the street art that San Francisco has to offer. Odell took some great shots of Le Bijoutier working and interspersed throughout are some of the shots that Le Bijoutier got from the day. Although not fully gonzo style, I hope this feature gives you an idea of the process. Big up Le Bijoutier, Odell, Tom, and Muriel. It was a fun day.

Studio Visit - Emory Douglas
Emory it was an absolute pleasure to sit down and talk with you. Shaun is responsible for the beautiful photos of Emory's studio as well as the audio editing. Thanks to all the supplemental photos and scans that Emory and Billy X graciously provided we were able to add some historical context to the studio visit. The audio in the intro as well as the music later on in the slideshow is taken from songs by The Lumpen. Don't forget to come out to the Opening Reception for Emory's Artwork 02/08/08 at 7pm!

Studio Visit - Frank Kozik
First of all I have to thank Frank for sitting down with us for what turned out to be about 5 hours, thanks to a lively discussion about politics. We have a wealth of great content beyond the scope of this particular feature so look for that to pop up here and there. Shaun took some great candid shots and found new angles in a studio that has been photographed many times. Frank will be signing copies of his new book, Plasticland 01/10/08 at 7pm.

Time Lapse Movie - John Felix Arnold III
Odell hooked up the intervalometer and made this very cool time lapse movie of the second day of set up and the opening reception for the artwork of John Felix Arnold III that we held on December 20th.

Shaun's pictures really capture the mood of John's work and John gives us some context as he talks about his process, his influences, and his perspective. We were really blown away and hopefully this slideshow will give you an idea of what we saw and what you can expect to see at the opening next Thursday (12/20/07, 6pm - 9pm).
